How our program works!

The Herd Share Buy-in

In order to get raw milk in Colorado, Colorado law requires you to buy into a herd of dairy animals.  WiMo offers a herd share buy-in so regardless of if you have a half share, a full share or six shares, everyone is an equal shareholder.  Our herd share buy in as of October of 2017 is $40.  We also have a $10 jar fee.

Monthly Boarding Fees

The other part of any raw milk program in Colorado is the monthly boarding fee.  That is the fee you pay each month to board the cows at WiMo Farms.  Your boarding fee will be dependent on the amount of milk you get each month.  Our monthly boarding cost as of October of 2018 is $30 per half share.  We offer any multiples of half shares.  A half share is equal to a half gallon of milk each week.

How to Start!

Submit your e-mail above and Mo will get back to you as soon as possible.  Additionally, if you'd like to talk to us, you may call us at the farm and we would be happy to talk to you about our program and answer any questions you might have outside of what you find here on our website.

Pickup Locations

At the Farm (Berthoud)

Many local Berthoud, Longmont and Loveland area shareholders enjoy picking up at our farm.  Farm pickup is available 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

We are currently looking for a drop location in town - please let me know if you're interested in partnering with us!

We offer a pickup location in central Longmont just off of Sunset and 6th Avenue (very close to the Sunset Golf Course).  The Garage Grocer allows pickup any time that is convenient to the shareholder, although our recommendation is to pick up between 6 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.

We have two different pickup locations in Boulder.  Both are located on the north side of town and have easy access. Pickup is available outside in both locations to maximize convenience for the shareholder.

Greeley and Fort Collins

We are THRILLED to be able to provide raw milk in Greeley thanks to our partnership with Covenant Farms.  They have graciously offered to be a pickup location for us moving forward.  Pickup is available during daylight hours.

Laffey Farms has generously offered to be a new pickup location for us as of July of 2019.  They are conveniently located right off of Timberline just north of Trilby.

The Farm Stand in SW Loveland owned by the Kellys has offered to be a pickup location for us and we couldn't be happier! We're now able to service our Loveland shareholders in a more convenient location for them!

If you live outside of our current pickup locations and you are interested in becoming a drop location, please let Mo know!  I'm always happy to entertain a new drop location.
